A&M Foundation to Hire Development Officer

COLLEGE STATION—The Texas A&M Foundation is looking for an experienced development professional to join its fund-raising organization.  Former students and friends of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences are invited to apply for this position or to nominate possible candidates.

The assistant director of development in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will be responsible for a broad range of activities in support of the fund-raising goals of the College and the Texas A&M Foundation.

The Foundation is a legally separate organization responsible for major gift fund-raising and asset management for Texas A&M University.

The ideal candidate will possess a baccalaureate degree and a minimum of two years of fund-raising or related experience with demonstrated success.

According to employment information supplied by the Foundation, preferred candidates will have experience related to agriculture, extension services or experiment station/agricultural research operations. Candidates must also possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

There is substantial travel and a valid Texas Driver’s License is required.
