
Kaleb Leutwyler is a first-generation Aggie from Cushing, Texas, currently in his sophomore year pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with a concentration in Policy and Economic Analysis. Growing up in a small town, Kaleb was immersed in agriculture from an early age. He developed his passion for agricultural policy through his participation in FFA in high school. Through FFA, he had the opportunity to meet many individuals from unique backgrounds and upbringings, as well as getting to see how federal policy affects people in different ways. At Texas A&M, Kalebis involved in the Kappa Upsilon Chi fraternity as well as numerous organizations within his major. During his internship he aims to apply his passion and knowledge for agriculture to the policy-making process. He also hopes to broaden his understanding of different topic areas as well as gaining firsthand experience in the policy making system. This fall he will be interning for the office of Congressman Ronny Jackson.
