The Fertilizer Institute
Devin Stout is a senior agricultural communications and journalism and agricultural leadership and development double major from Acampo, California. During his time as an undergraduate, he worked at the Texas Water Resources Institute as a communications intern. This experience propelled his passion for agricultural policy, more specifically water, even more as he gained valuable insight into the world of Texas water.
Additionally, Devin was heavily involved in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, participating in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Freshman Experience program as a mentor, and the Department of Leadership, Education, and Communications Aggie Representatives. Devin also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in the ALEC Department for two semesters.
In his free time, Devin enjoys running, hiking, swimming, and watching Aggie basketball. After completing his ANRP internship and graduating from Texas A&M in May, Devin plans to attend law school in hopes of becoming a practicing attorney, with an emphasis in water and riparian rights. This spring, Devin is interning with The Fertilizer Institute. He looks forward to returning to California and applying what he has learned in Texas and Washington, D.C. into his eventual policy work there.
