Office of Congressman Randy Weber
Kennedy Duncan recently graduated from Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate. She is from the small town of Devine, Texas, and has strong ties to rural communities and agricultural production, which have shaped her educational and career interests. Growing up in a farming community inspired her to explore and expand her knowledge of agricultural policy. During her time at Texas A&M, Kennedy served as Secretary for the Society of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate and was actively involved in the Department of Agricultural Economics. These experiences helped her develop leadership and analytical skills while deepening her understanding of rural economic challenges. Inspired by the people and places that shaped her upbringing, Kennedy is passionate about advocating for rural communities and exploring innovative approaches to agricultural policy that promote resilience and growth. This spring, she hopes to broaden her knowledge of the policymaking process and agricultural systems across the nation as she interns with the Office of Congressman Randy Weber.
