Avery Fohn ’27 is an agricultural economics honors student from Harlingen, Texas. She discovered a passion for public service through her involvement in the Student Government Association, where she serves as a Student Senator and Caucus Leader for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Avery is deeply engaged within the college, serving as a member of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Council, a COALS Freshman Experience Mentor, and an Agricultural Community in Excellence Mentor, where she guides freshmen students through their academic, leadership, and campus transition. She is also a Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean’s Excellence Scholar.
Following graduation, Avery plans to attend law school and pursue a career in policy and legal advocacy focused on protecting and stewarding land responsibly. She is driven by the belief that land reflects generations of stewardship, sacrifice, and resilience.
