Office of Congressman John Carter

Ky is a current Master of Agribusiness student with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics, earned in May 2025. Raised on a farm and ranch in deep South Texas, she developed a deep-rooted passion for agriculture and the industries that support it. Coming from a military-rich family, Ky is strongly committed to supporting U.S. troops and advocating for border security.
During her undergraduate years, Ky gained property management and appraisal experience through her work and internships in the real estate industry. She also served for two years as a Hullabaloo peer mentor and teaching assistant. In addition, she was involved in Aggie REPS for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, where she helped create ACE, a freshman organization for agricultural economics students. Through these roles, she was able to foster her passion for helping first-semester freshmen feel welcomed and at home in Aggieland.
Ky hopes to use these passions to contribute meaningful work in Congressman Carter’s office while gaining a deeper understanding of how policy decisions impact agriculture, the military, local communities, and the everyday lives of Texans.
In her free time, Ky enjoys reading, running, going to the beach, and spending time with her two older sisters.
