Conservative Political Action Conference

David Kendrick is a student at Texas A&M University pursuing a double major in animal science (science option) and agricultural economics, along with a minor in agrifood sales. Originally from Texas, David developed a strong interest in agriculture through his background and experiences, which led him to recognize the importance of public policy in supporting producers and rural communities.
During his time at Texas A&M, David has been actively involved in the Texas Farm Bureau Collegiate Chapter, where he has participated in advocacy efforts, helped plan events, and engaged with industry professionals. Through these experiences, he has developed a strong interest in agricultural policy and the legislative process.
This semester, David is interning with the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC), where he is gaining experience in policy and advocacy. Through this opportunity, he hopes to build the skills necessary to pursue a career in agricultural policy and better understand how legislation impacts the agricultural industry.
