Conservative Political Action Conference

Natalie Troyer is a junior double-majoring in agricultural economics and political science from Houston, Texas. As a 3rd generations Aggie, Natalie has always loved Texas A&M and had a deep-rooted sense of the Aggie Spirit, being committed to attending this university from a young age. She became interested in public policy during her senior year of high school, when participating in public speaking contests about issues facing the agricultural industry. Her passion for government in politics has heavily influenced her involvement on campus, and she is incredibly thankful to be part of the summer ’26 cohort of the Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy Internship Program.
At Texas A&M University, Natalie is very involved with the Student Government Association, where she is currently serving as the Speaker Pro Tempore for the Student Senate. She is able to manage the operations of the Senate, oversee the Internal Affairs team, and be responsible for communications with all senators. She was also responsible for the programming of the 2026 Conference on Student Government Associations, which is the largest student-run SGA conference in the world. Outside of Student Government, Natalie is a member of the Chi Omega chapter at Texas A&M. In her sorority, she is currently serving as the Local Philanthropy Relations coordinator on the Service Committee. She also volunteers weekly with the local philanthropy, The BEE Community, which is a non-profit in Bryan, Texas that employs adults with disabilities.
Upon graduation, Natalie hopes to pursue her Juris Doctor at law school in Texas. She hopes to have a career in international trade law, specifically looking into how foreign relations, especially in times of conflict, affect the economy and trade in the United States. This summer, Natalie is excited to be interning with the Conservative Political Action Conference. She is looking forward to learning more about how the government operates with outside entities and how political priorities are decided.
