Office of Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz

Nicole Pruski is an incoming senior agricultural communications and journalism student at Texas A&M University, pursuing a minor in American politics and policy. As a South Texas native from St. Hedwig, on the outskirts of San Antonio, she was raised in a family with deep roots in agriculture. As a fifth-generation beef cattle rancher, her upbringing shaped her appreciation for the industry that feeds and fuels the nation. Nicole is passionate about protecting the future of agriculture through effective communication and policy.
During her time at Texas A&M, Nicole has been actively involved in leadership and service organizations. She serves as the Vice President of Policy for the Class of 2027 Cabinet, is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, a Panhellenic sorority where she serves as a recruitment group leader, and is involved in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Council. She also previously served as a Texas FFA state officer, representing over 175,000 members and advocating for agricultural education and leadership development.
Professionally, Nicole has gained experience in agricultural advocacy, communications, and public service. She enjoys using her writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills to connect with others and share the story of agriculture. This summer, Nicole will serve as a congressional intern for Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz, where she looks forward to gaining firsthand experience in the legislative process.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying involved in her faith community, and mentoring students. Following her internship, she plans to pursue a career at the intersection of agriculture, policy, and communications, with the goal of serving rural communities and advocating for the agricultural industry.
