The Fertilizer Institute

Sarah Ewing is an undergraduate senior at Texas A&M University with plans to graduate in December 2026. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Leadership and Development with minors in Bioenvironmental Science and History. She is also obtaining a Philosophy Pre-Law Certificate. Sarah is a first-generation Aggie originally from Spring City, Pennsylvania. She is most passionate about the intersection of agriculture and environmentalism, and how the law can be used to uplift both. Sarah plans to eventually attend law school and pursue a career in lobbying for such issues.
At Texas A&M, Sarah is an active member of the Pre-Law Society, where she plans social and service events for her peers in the organization. She has also helped foster community at A&M by mentoring younger students through her freshman leadership organization. Beyond the academic space, Sarah has robust professional experience in nonprofit leadership. Having served as both Associate Director and Board of Directors member for a nonprofit in her hometown, Sarah understands the inner workings and needs of these types of organizations. From these roles, she has also gained invaluable skills in persuasive communication, event coordination, and team management. She is excited to put these skills to use this summer in Washington, D.C.
Sarah is interning with The Fertilizer Institute, and she is thrilled to represent such an industry before the federal government. She is eager to further the Institute’s mission, protecting the interests of manufacturers, farmers, and consumers alike while working to build sustainable solutions for the future.
