Summer Mossa

Summer Mossa is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she has built an academic and professional background at the intersection of agriculture, aviation, and infrastructure, which sparked her interest in how policy decisions shape communities and regional development.
During her time at Texas A&M, Summer was actively involved in the Texas A&M chapter of Women in Aviation, her sorority Delta Gamma, and the Civil Air Patrol Bush Squadron. She continues to serve in Civil Air Patrol as a member of a Dallas squadron, combining her passion for aviation with service and emergency response. Summer also conducted undergraduate research focused on the agricultural drone industry, with her research paper having been accepted for presentation by the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association, deepening her interest in how technology and policy shape the future of agriculture.
Summer has gained professional experience through internships in airport planning, customer service, and aviation operations, where she has supported long‑term infrastructure projects, worked with diverse teams, and communicated complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders. She is grateful for the opportunity to bring these experiences to her internship with Atlas Crossing in Washington, D.C., where she is gaining firsthand exposure to public policy and government affairs while exploring future career paths in policy and public service.
In her free time, Summer loves to travel, stay active outdoors by hiking and playing sports, volunteer with the Red Cross and Civil Air Patrol, and spend time with her family and friends.
