The Borlaug International Scholars Program is a program that provides both graduate degree training and short-term experiential learning activities for international students and professionals working in agricultural and rural development.
Students selected must have a demonstrated commitment to fighting global hunger and ensuring food security. Through the program, they will gain the tools and motivation to be leaders in international agricultural development.
Program participants will pursue a wide variety of disciplines in agriculture and rural development including plant science, animal science, veterinary medicine, horticultural science, genetics, agricultural education, ecosystems sciences, water management, agricultural economics, and nutrition.
All requirements must be met by the applicant in order for his/her application to be considered.
