Preston Hanrattie '29

Biography

Preston Hanrattie ’29 has always loved travel and developed a passion for creating meaningful and welcoming ambiances based on his experiences. Preston aspires to build a career in either the corporate or on-site side of the hospitality industry to pursue this passion.

He has gained hands-on industry knowledge through internships at both the Westin Grand Central in New York City and at HEI Hotels + Resorts as an investment intern. These roles have given him exposure to hospitality operations and the financial strategies that exist within them.

Dedicated to bettering hospitality on a global scale, Preston envisions shaping environments where guests feel valued and connected, no matter the event or occasion. Outside the classroom and workplace, he enjoys watching all sports, traveling to new places and spending quality time with family and friends.
