Biography
Emmalee Neuhaus ’29 grew up in an agriculture-focused family and is a third-generation Aggie. She played basketball for eight years and earned all-state accolades for her academic accomplishments. She truly enjoyed mentoring two elementary students for the last two years through Bullard High School. As a member of the Trinity Lutheran Youth Group, she has dedicated more than 160 hours to giving back to her community and helping those in need around the Tyler and St. Louis areas.
Emmalee appreciates the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship program because it makes her feel recognized for her academic accomplishments. This scholarship will also alleviate some of the financial stress associated with college, allowing her to focus on her engineering classes. Emmalee hopes to become a food and bioprocess engineer and utilize her knowledge to improve the food industry. In her free time, Emmalee enjoys spending time with family, hanging out with her friends and reading classic novels.
