Biography
Lydia Patterson ’29 was active in many extracurriculars throughout high school. She plans to use her past experiences to help her join various organizations at Texas A&M University. Lydia is looking for a church to get plugged into and is seeking ways to get involved on and off campus.
One thing Lydia has always been passionate about is community. Being at Texas A&M has shown her how strong the community is here, and she is excited about all the opportunities she will be exposed to.
Over the summers, Lydia spends her time as a camp counselor at T Bar M Camps and Retreats and participates as a camper at Deer Creek Camp. In her free time, Lydia is usually hanging out with her friends, coloring, crafting or spending time with her siblings.
Lydia is grateful for the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship program for the opportunity to grow in her leadership skills and be a better leader to those around her.
