Tori Arellano graduated from Texas A&M University in August of 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics, with a concentration in policy and economic analysis. Although originally from Irving, Texas, she developed a deep admiration for Washington, D.C., and public policy while interning previously for Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne. During the summer of 2024, she proudly served her home congressional district as a legislative intern for Congresswoman Van Duyne and was eager to return to Capitol Hill.
Throughout her undergraduate years, she was actively involved in Delta Zeta Sorority and the Pre-Law Society. She also served as President of Courageous Conversations for Latina Women, an organization dedicated to creating a safe and empowering space for Latina students on campus at Texas A&M. In this leadership role, she fostered a supportive environment for members that encouraged members to thrive academically and professionally. While completing her senior year, Tori also transitioned from a college intern at a local personal injury firm to a legal assistant role, where she focused on maximizing settlements for her clients and exceeding weekly attorney fee standards.
Her combined academic and professional experiences, along with her strong work ethic, earned her an internship with the Office of Senator Ted Cruz. Tori has a strong passion for policy, with specific interests in food insecurity, homeland security, foreign affairs, and immigration, all of which she is determined to demonstrate throughout her internship with Senator Cruz. After her internship is completed, she plans on applying to law school as she aspires to become an attorney specializing in business law. Committed to public service, Tori aims to dedicate her professional career to advancing policy that improves the lives of Texans and beyond.
