What is AGLS Giving Day?

AGLS Giving Day is a student-driven initiative encouraging current and former students to give back in an easy, yet meaningful way. Created in 2023 by COALS Council, the goal of AGLS Giving Day is to raise $12,000 on the 12th day of April through donations of $12 (or more!). By asking for just $12, our aim is to promote participation in all departments to have a lasting impact on future Aggies!

Cultivating the Best and Brightest

All funds raised from AGLS Giving Day go directly toward supporting our College’s students. Student success, engagement, and development are top College priorities for Dr. Jeffrey Savell, our vice chancellor and dean for agriculture and life science.

“We want to ensure that we not only bring the best and the brightest students to Texas A&M, but also provide opportunities to enhance their experience and pursue their passions during their time in Aggieland.  Support for the AGLS Giving Day campaign enhances the vision for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.”
– Brittley Bowers
COALS Council President
