Biography
Briana Peltier ’28 is a second-generation Aggie. She is a member of the Texas A&M University Pre-Med Society on campus and the Finis Welch Foundation off campus. Briana hopes to participate in more opportunities and organizations around campus as she continues her college career. Her current career aspirations include attending medical school and becoming a board-certified emergency physician to use her skills to help others through organizations like Doctors Without Borders.
She is passionate about volunteering and has participated in multiple service trips and projects through Girl Scouts, most significantly a multi-week service trip to Latin America working in sea turtle conservation and helping facilitate access to education in an indigenous community. In her free time, Briana enjoys reading, crocheting, playing the piano and cooking. Briana greatly appreciates the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship because it allows her to fully focus on being an excellent student and leader with this life-changing educational support from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
