Biography
Edgar Zamora ’28 is the first Aggie in his family. With a background in math and science courses such as AP Chemistry and AP Biology, Edgar aims to become a forensic chemist or work in another science-heavy forensic discipline. Discovering Texas A&M’s forensic science track inspired him to seize the opportunity. Edgar hopes to secure an internship between his sophomore and junior years while adjusting to college life and building sustainable habits. As the first in his family to attend college, he is driven to excel and make a difference. He is grateful for the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship, which supports his goal of making a positive impact on his family’s lives. In his free time, Edgar enjoys weightlifting, running, walking his chihuahua and occasionally reading and practicing guitar.
