She plans to join the Human Environmental Animal Team and other environmental organizations.
Fiona was unsure about her college path until her final high school semester. Her decision to major in bioenvironmental science was influenced by two experiences: visiting Barton Springs in Austin, where she was fascinated by the algae, and interacting with stingrays at the Austin Aquarium, which sparked her interest in ocean conservation. She is grateful for the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship, which will support her goals.
Outside academics, Fiona enjoys playing volleyball, pickleball, badminton and ping pong.
