Biography
Taryn O’Brien ’28 was raised in a dedicated Aggie family with a deep passion for agriculture. She actively participated in Texas 4-H and Texas FFA, holding leadership roles such as Texas 4-H Youth Livestock Ambassador, District 11 Second Vice Chairman and Sinton FFA President.
At Texas A&M, Taryn is excited to engage with organizations including the Saddle and Sirloin Club, Animal Science Ambassadors, Dreamcatchers Texas A&M, and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Freshman Experience, COALS FX.
Taryn is deeply grateful to the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship program for easing the financial burden of college and providing countless opportunities. After earning her bachelor’s degree in animal science, she aspires to pursue a career as a physician assistant. In her free time, Taryn enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Aggies.
