AGLS Career Fair Information for Students

Join us on campus *in-person* on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 from 10AM to 3PM in MSC 2300. 

If you encounter issues with accessing HireAggies, email your UIN to cc_advisor@tamu.edu and ask for access.

2/2/23 AGLS In-Person Career Fair – Spring 2023 Registration

Business Casual Required. Dress Code Guidelines for the AGLS Career Fair:

  • Business Casual Women:
    • Business dress, skirt, pants, or starched jeans (no distressed, worn, or ripped denim)
    • Blouse, collared shirt, or sweater
    • Suit jacket (optional)
    • Moderate heels, professional flats, or solid colored boots
    • No t-shirts, shorts, or tennis shoes will be allowed
  • Business Casual Men:
    • Business slacks or starched jeans (no distressed, worn, or ripped denim)
    • Long sleeved collared shirt
    • Sweater, vest, or sports coat (optional)
    • Tie (optional)
    • Dark socks
    • Solid color belt
    • Solid color dress shoes or boots
    • No t-shirts, shorts, or tennis shoes will be allowed

How to participate:

  1. Go to careercenter.tamu.edu and click LAUNCH HIREAGGIES (blue button)
  2. Fill in your profile information and upload a resume under ‘Documents’
  3. Once in HireAggies, go to ‘Events -> Career Fairs’; find ’AGLS Career Fair – Spring 2023’
  4. Click on the event to see registered employers for each day and ‘star’ your favorites
  5. Select ‘Attend As A Student’, review your profile info and choose a resume to share. Employers will see any of the following profile information you provide (name, major, degree, grad date, work authorization status) and your resume, if shared.
  6. Check out the Tips & Tricks and Dress for Success blog posts to help you prepare for the virtual career fair!

AGLS In Person Career Fair | Thursday, February 2 | 10 AM-3 PM | MSC 2300

Agriculture and Life Sciences Career Fair Group Tours will be offered the day of the event. Group tours will be 30 minutes in length, and will begin every hour, on the hour, between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Our tours are geared towards students who are eager to attend this semester’s Career Fair, but are hesitant to attend alone, never attended before, or would like assistance navigating the event layout.
