Information for Companies

Spring 2022 AGLS Career Fair options will be held in-person and virtually. Please join us on campus *in-person* on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 from 10AM to 3PM in MSC 2300 on campus. A virtual option will be held Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 from 9 AM to 4 PM through HireAggies powered by Symplicity.

The AGLS Career Fair allows:

  • For your company to find ambitious, motivated students
  • Your company to fill internships and full-time employment opportunities with talented students
  • Your company to share an invaluable experience with Aggies so they will learn how to prepare for the future
  • You to advertise your company
  • You to network with students, faculty and fellow professionals

: $500.00**
Non-profit Registration: $200.00**
** price includes access to in-person and virtual fair options; a primary contact for each organization will need to register for each event in HireAggies (registration links below)

Virtual (only)
Company Registration
: $150.00
Non-profit Registration: $50.00

We are excited to offer the following features as a part of this event’s virtual component:

  • No limit on the number of representatives

Registration:

Do not delay in registering, as space is limited. Once you are registered, follow the prompts within your email confirmation to finalize payment.

Once you follow the link to register, follow the prompts within HireAggies to securely pay via Marketplace. If we do not receive payment within one week of your organization’s registration, we will email you an invoice. 

  • Standard Registration AND Non-Profit/TAMU Affiliated for AGLS In-person Career Fair includes:
    • One booth space (including set-up of table, two chairs, internet access, and outlets)
    • Parking Pass for ONE vehicle (given to employers at the end of the Fair)
    • Refreshments and J. Cody’s BBQ lunch for TWO representatives*
      • *Additional Representatives are $25/each:
        • If you are bringing more than two representatives, you must register each additional representative to help cover the cost of lunch and refreshments.
  • Employer Booth and Materials Information:
    • Each company is assigned one booth space; it includes one 2.5 foot by 6 foot skirted table with a fitted table linen and pipe/drape behind the table. Booths will be pre-assigned. Your booth will be labeled with your company name and a map of the floor plan will be provided at registration.
    • Materials can be mailed to campus ahead of time to arrive at least one week early or you can bring them with you day of. If you mail items, please request a tracking number for your reference.

      • We will deliver your shipped material directly to your assigned booth.
      • We are happy to schedule the pick up of your booth materials following the event ONLY if you have affixed the correct pre-paid return shipping label before leaving.
  • Unloading Materials the Day of the Career Fair:
    • You will unload at the MSC loading dock. This dock is located off Gene Stallings Drive.
      • To access the loading dock, you will turn onto Joe Routt Boulevard off Wellborn Road. Joe Routt Boulevard runs between the north side of Kyle Field and the new Texas A&M University Hotel & Conference Center. Once you turn onto Joe Routt Boulevard, you will turn left onto Gene Stallings Drive. The loading dock will be on your right. You will be greeted by MSC staff members to assist you in unloading.  Here is the link to the campus map: http://www.tamu.edu/map/index.html.
    • After unloading, you will park in the University Campus Parking Garage OR Cain Parking Garage.
      • Access to the Cain Parking Garage is off of Gene Stallings Boulevard (easiest access after unloading if there is room to park) OR Wellborn Drive and Joe Routt Boulevard.  
      • Access to the University Campus Parking Garage is off George Bush Drive and Houston Street.
    • We are happy to schedule pick up of your materials following the event ONLY if you have affixed the correct return shipping label before leaving- please include a tracking number to that you are able to follow the return of your materials.

  • Any questions regarding AGLS Career Fair should be sent to aglscareerfair@tamu.edu
  • Any special arrangements needed for your company must be requested at least *2 weeks in advance* of the date of the Career Fair.
  • All payment needs to be provided at the time of registration. We do not accept late payment.
  • You must register for the event at least two weeks prior to the date of the Career Fair. There will be NO extension to the registration deadline; all information must be provided PRIOR to this date.

Employer Recruiting:

  • One of the best ways to recruit students at Texas A&M is to post positions on our HireAggies.com online job opportunity system, powered by Symplicity. It is free and easy to use. It allows you to reach students of all disciplines & degree levels for full-time and intern positions. Click here to register and post a position. Employers are also able to coordinate on-campus interview rooms with the Career Center’s Employer Relations team through their Symplicity account.
    • If you are not a current Symplicity or NACELink OneStop user, you will need to register with Symplicity before posting your first position. There is no charge to post positions with Texas A&M University.
  • The Career Center advertises the AGLS Career Fair beginning in mid-summer and continues through the day of the event.  If you wish to purchase additional advertising through the student newspaper, contact The Battalion.
