Agricultural Leadership and Development expands a students’ leadership capabilities through the exploration of topics spanning personal leadership, theory, change management, leading volunteers, applied ethics, leading teams, public leadership, extension education, and leading and training adults.
The Agricultural Leadership and Development program at Texas A&M is one of the oldest and largest in the country and students have the opportunity to work and learn alongside award-winning faculty. Our faculty use their unique expertise to prepare students for a variety of leadership positions. Flexibility within this major enables students to build a degree to meet their individual interests and career goals.
