Biological and Agricultural Engineering students apply their knowledge of physical and biological sciences, mathematics, engineering principles and engineering design to the production and processing of food and fiber, to the preservation of environmental quality, to biological systems and processes, and to machine systems that interface with all of these.
Our program goes beyond traditional engineering disciplines by integrating principles of sustainability and ethics into the curriculum. Graduates emerge not only as skilled engineers but also as responsible professionals who understand the broader implications of their work for the environment and society.
