Our graduates in the Food Systems Industry Management option will be prepared to bring together food supply chain management and best practices for food quality and safety, skills that are essential in a competitive global economy. Students will be trained to: perform economic and system analyses; operate and manage food processing, storage and distribution systems; manage and utilize databases and information systems; apply scientific and engineering process controls to a food system; and address current and future regulations within the Food Safety Modernization Act.
