The minor in Wildlife and Fisheries Management provides the student with an introduction to the fundamentals of this area of study. The minor, available to students in all majors (except for RWFM students within Wildlife Management or Aquaculture and Fisheries Management), focuses on developing a foundation in techniques of wildlife and fisheries management, including managing wildlife populations and their habitats as well as integration of applied fisheries management, preparing students to handle traditional and emerging, complex issues. The minor is administered by the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management.
An internship, RWFM 484, is available for minors above the required 18 hours.
