Biography
Brigette Bettice ’28 grew up on a small family farm, raising Simbrah cattle. This led her to discover her love for agriculture and begin showing market steers and breeding heifers. She competed in meats judging and livestock judging in both 4-H and FFA. Brigette is passionate about agriculture and was part of the Texas 4-H Livestock Ambassador program.
On campus, Brigette is a member of the Meat Science and Technology Association and hopes to be on the Texas A&M 2026 Meats Judging Team. She was also awarded the Terry Foundation Scholarship, where she is involved in the Terry community, and is extremely grateful to be a Dean’s Excellence Scholar. Brigette plans to go to medical school and pursue a career as a pediatric surgeon. In her free time, she loves to read, go on walks and spend time with family and friends.
