Caraline Dudley was raised on her family’s cow and calf operation as the daughter of two Aggies. In high school, she held prominent leadership roles as a Texas 4-H Youth Livestock Ambassador on the Texas 4-H Council and as a Texas FFA area officer.
On campus, Caraline is actively engaged in a plethora of agricultural organizations, including the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council, Texas Aggie Cattlewomen, Saddle and Sirloin, Meat Science and Technology Association, the Aron and Mary Lois Savell Leadership Book Club, and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Freshman Experience, COALS FX. Caraline also serves on the community service committee for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Council. Additionally, Caraline aspires to join the meat judging team and plans to pursue a hands-on career in the beef production industry, particularly in a feedlot setting.
Her passion for beef is palpable, and Caraline eagerly shares her story with anyone willing to listen. The Dean’s Excellence Scholarship has been instrumental in alleviating the financial strain of college, enabling Caraline to immerse herself fully in the Aggie experience. In her free time, Caraline enjoys reading about the cattle industry, partaking in duck hunting excursions and cherishing moments with her family and loyal cow dog, Bob.
