Marisa Goode '27

Biography

Marisa Goode ’27 grew up on a small farm in Bryan. Over the past several years, she has discovered a passion for agriculture and, more specifically, the poultry industry. Marisa plans to minor in education and work on her counselor’s certificate throughout the next 3 years. Her goal is to become an agricultural educator, fulfilling a childhood dream she has had to become a teacher. Marisa hopes to make a difference within the agricultural industry by teaching the next generation of leaders.

Marisa says the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship program has helped her by providing financial assistance, opportunities, and support to help her achieve her educational and career goals. A few of Marisa’s passions are agriculture, education, helping others and her family. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with loved ones and working with the animals on her farm.
