Biography
Catherine Kaczmarek ’28 has enjoyed being outdoors since she was little. She is the first Aggie in her family but has been visiting Texas after her grandfather introduced the state to her. In high school, Catherine was involved with her local FFA chapter and conservation efforts in her hometown. She will have an FFA project judged at the National Convention in October 2024. Since beginning her first semester at Texas A&M, she has joined the Texas Trophy Hunters Association and applied to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Freshman Experience, COALS FX.
Catherine is incredibly thankful to have received the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship, as it has allowed her to travel to her dream school and study in such an astounding program. Catherine is passionate about being a steward of the earth and best managing the relationship between nature and humans. With her degree, she hopes to become involved in ranch management and explore different private ranch operations. In her free time, Catherine loves to exercise, travel and spend time with her yellow lab, Bessie.
