Grace Real ’27 is a proud third-generation aggie from Krum, where she grew up on a small family cow/calf and swine operation. During her first semester at Texas A&M, she has been member of the Wool Judging Team, the Saddle and Sirloin Club, the Meat Science and Technology Association and the College of Agriculture and Life Science Freshman Experience, COALS FX. With a passion for all things agriculture, people and public speaking, Grace hopes to utilize her professional career to serve as an advocate for agriculture and livestock production while working with industry leaders and producers to create new solutions for the industry.
Grace says that the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship Program has allowed her the opportunity to take part in new experiences such as internships, student organizations and competitive teams, as well as create new connections while working toward her goal of graduating debt-free. The generosity of donors from this program is something she does not take lightly. She wishes to extend her most sincere gratitude to those who make programs like this possible to support the new generation of leaders in agriculture.
