Biography
Growing up on a farm, Gabriella Rodriguez ’28 developed a deep connection to agriculture, working with livestock including cattle, goats and horses, and participating in the FFA and 4-H organizations for over nine years. This passion for agriculture combined with a love for storytelling led her to pursue a degree that merges both fields. Gabby spent time caring for various animals, fostering a lifelong love of agriculture. In the future, she aspires to work in agricultural marketing, aiming to amplify rural voices and share the stories of farmers and ranchers across the nation.
The Dean’s Excellence Scholarship program has provided valuable support, allowing Gabby to focus on her studies and campus involvement while pursuing these ambitions. She is grateful for this opportunity, as it affirms her commitment to excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities. In her free time, Gabby enjoys engaging in outdoor activities with friends and family, playing softball and walking her toy Aussie Louis.
