Biography
McKenna Vest ’28 grew up on a sheep, goat and dairy cow operation. In high school, she was involved in 4-H and FFA, serving as a Livestock Committee Member and was part of the 2021 3rd place National FFA Milk Quality and Products Team, where she also placed 5th individually. McKenna also served as a Regimental Administrative Officer in the NJROTC program. Since arriving on campus, McKenna has participated in the National Agri-Marketing Association, Saddle and Sirloin Club and Agricultural Economics Society. She hopes to become an Agricultural Marketing Specialist after completing her degree at Texas A&M. McKenna is extremely grateful that the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship program gave her the opportunity to pursue her passion for agriculture at Texas A&M. Outside of school, McKenna enjoys showing livestock and dairy cows at the state, regional and national levels. She also loves playing volleyball and spending time with family and friends.
